Seeing Things?

Have you ever had the feeling that when you missed someone terribly and kept thinking of the person, wherever you go, glancing at faces of strangers on the streets, you will tend to keep seeing someone whom at first glance seems to be the one that you are thinking of, and on second glance, although you are able to recognize the fact that the person you are thinking of is not there, you will still tend to look at the person and is able to easily point out the similiarites between the two, and before your eyes, you seem to be able to see the stranger's face slowly transform to the one that you missed? I have had many such encounters on the streets and I wonder if it is just me or are there anyone else in the whole world that encounters the same feeling as what I had felt?
